Lifteller Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Lifteller platform and services. By creating an account or using Lifteller, you agree to these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Platform: The Lifteller website, applications, and related services.
- User: Any person who accesses or uses Lifteller.
- Lift: A voluntary financial support request or offer initiated by users.
- Wallet: A digital account enabling transactions within the platform.
2. Eligibility
Users must be at least 18 years old or have legal guardian approval where required by law. Users must provide accurate registration information.
3. Account Registration
Users must create an account to access certain features. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
4. Wallet and Financial Services
Lifteller may provide wallet functionality through licensed financial institutions and payment processors. Users agree to comply with all applicable financial regulations including AML and KYC verification requirements.
5. Acceptable Use
Users agree not to:
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, or illegal financial activity.
- Upload harmful, misleading, or illegal content.
- Use the platform to harass or exploit other users.
- Circumvent security or verification mechanisms.
6. Platform Moderation
Lifteller reserves the right to monitor activity, suspend accounts, block wallets, remove content, or investigate suspicious transactions to maintain platform safety.
7. Fees and Charges
Lifteller may charge transaction fees, service fees, or platform charges. Applicable fees will be disclosed transparently within the platform.
8. Intellectual Property
All platform software, branding, trademarks, and designs are owned by Lifteller or its licensors. Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant Lifteller a license to host and display such content.
9. Suspension and Termination
Lifteller may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose risks to users or the platform.
10. Limitation of Liability
Lifteller shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.
11. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify Lifteller against claims arising from misuse of the platform or violation of these Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
13. Dispute Resolution
Disputes shall first be resolved through negotiation and mediation before resorting to litigation in Nigerian courts.
14. Amendments
Lifteller may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
